Crispy potato


Ingredients:

  • 1 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder.
  • 3 Peeled and boiled potatoes
  • 2 Finely chopped green chillies
  • 1 tbsp Finely chopped coriander leaves
  • 1/2 lemon
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp Oil
Method :
  1. Cut boiled potatoes into pieces.
  2. Heat oil in a pan,
  3. Add cumin seeds, turmeric powder.
  4. Now add chopped potatoes and chillies.
  5. Stir and fry for about 5 minutes.
  6. Add lemon juice, salt and coriander. Mix well.
  7. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
  8. Crispy potato is ready to serve.

Masala Bhindi

Ingredients.

  • 500 gms Bhindi - Ladyfinger
  • 2 Big Onions cut in rings.
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Mango powder
  • 1 tsp Red chili
  • 1 tsp Garam masala
  • 3 tbsps Oil
  • Salt to taste
Method
  • Scar the Bhindi in half.
  • Stuff turmeric powder, mango powder, red chili, garam masala and salt into sliced Bhindi.
  • Take the oil in pan and add the bhindi when the oil is heated.
  • fry it on a low flame .
  • Add the onions when the bhindi is about to ripe.
  • fry it till it turns crisp.
  • Serve it with hot chapati and curd.

Super fast rice

1. Jeera rice

Ingredients : -

long / Basmati rice. 1 cup

(jeera)- cumin seed. 1 spoon

cashews halved a few.

peper corns - 5-6 whole

Onions 2 - cut in rings

app. 2 1/2 cups water.

Ghee / Oil 2spoons

lime 1/2

salt to taste

Method : -

Wash and soak the rice for 20 -30 mins.
Heat ghee in a pressure cooker let it heat for 1 minuts.

add jeera (cumin seed), Pepper and chopped onion fry it till onion change the colour - 1 min.

now add the soaked rice, fry for 1-2 mins
add water and let the cooker vhistle once.

after opening the pressure cooker spread some lime so that the rice will not stick.

add cashue and serve hot.
